What are your favorite charities?

I'd like to make some kind of donation by the year's end, but I can't decide to whom it should go since there are so many worthy causes out there. I was thinking about some kind of Hurricane Ike relief fund, but I'd also like to hear your thoughts.

Random thoughts on my mind:

1. I find it hilarious that one Chuck Bass would conduct back door dealings while wearing a bright orange trench coat. I would think that the ostentatious color would make it hard to carry out your cloak-and-dagger business, wouldn't you?

My Marketing professor assigned a group blogging project, and my group has decided to create a blog based around cheese. As in the actual food. We're calling it "Cutting the Cheese". This is either the best idea ever, or a disaster in the making.
